In my English class, we are reading a book called "Animal Farm". In the book there is an election going on between two pigs to be the leader. One is named Napoleon and the other is named Snowball. I prefer Snowball because he is smart, helpful, and brave.
Snowball is the smarter pig when it comes down to him and Napoleon. He is the brains behind most of the plans that they have. “Snowball, who had studied an old book of Julius Caesar campaigns which he had found in the farmhouse, was in charge of the defensive operations.”(Chapter 4 Page 40) Also he wrote The Seven Commandments. He is also one of the only animals on the farm that can read and write. He is also very brave. An example of Snowball being brave is when he fought in The Battle of the Cowshed. It was a very dangerous thing and he lived through it and not everybody did. Another example is during The Battle of the Cowshed, a sheep was killed by a human. Later on, the rest of the animals held a ceremony for him. “At the graveside Snowball made a little speech, emphasising the need for all animals to be ready to die for Animal Farm if need be.”(Chapter 4 Page 44) Snowball is being brave enough to say that. Also, Snowball is the most helpful animal on Animal Farm. When some of the animals were arguing about what to do with the food, Snowball tried to settle the fights and create peace. Snowball also has to help the other animals read stuff for them to understand. “Snowball read it aloud for the benefit of the others.”(Chapter 2 Page 25) Snowball is the kindest pig because he always like to help around.

My mom is the strongest person that I have ever met. She is strong physically, mentally, and emotionally. She went through a lot in her life and she didn't deserve any of it. She had to go through 2 liver transplants in 2014. It was really hard to watch her go through it. I technically didn't watch her go through it because I was home in Texas an she was in Indiana. That's where she had to have the transplants.
My mom had temporarily move to Indiana for about 8 months just to receive the liver. It was meant to just be one, but the first one failed. It was really hard to be away from both my parents for the time period. I love my mom very much and I don't know what I'd do without her. I would change the world by having everyone be an organ donor. It is very important to me because it would people in need and people like my mom. My mom had 2 liver transplants in 2014 and they saved her life. If she didn't have the liver transplants, she wouldn't be alive today. It would be great if everyone was an organ donor because there is also a organ shortage. Everyone should be an organ donor.
A dream can change the world in so many ways. It can change peoples' opinions on topics. It can also make people do amazing things in their life. If people put their mind to something, they can do anything they want. Anything is possible and it all starts with a dream. Dreams can create amazing things. For example, Martin Luther King Jr. once said "I have a dream" and it came true. It may have happened in later years, but it still did happen. Dreams can come true and change the world in an amazing way.
One of my greatest blessings is my dog. He is probably one of the best things that has ever happened to me! I don't know what I would've done if I didn't have him. He is truly a blessing that came form Heaven. He is the best dog and the most well- behaved one. I am so grateful for him and I love him so much.
Bandit is 9 years old and his birthday is April 9th, 2008. He is getting really old. Sadly, Bandit also had arthritis which is a painful disease which affects the joints. Basically, after he plays or runs around the yard a lot, he suffers from the pain later. It s really sad watching your dog struggle to get up when he's been laying down. He doesn't deserve it, but I understand that life is not fair. Anyways, back on a positive note. Bandit is the best thing to ever happen to me and I make sure he knows that everyday. He has a good life and I always make sure of that. If I had a magic cleaner, it would wash away all of my problems. It would make my life much easier and less stressful. Although having problems makes you a problem solver, it doesn't make any better. The magic cleaner should be a real thing so that it could make everyone's life a little bit better. I wish that it could wash away everybody's problems.
Another thing that the eraser could wash away would be negativity. Negativity just drowns out any good or positive vibes in the room. Good vibes make people happier and everyone is upbeat and it's all good. Negative people are not nice to be around and it just makes everyone get in a bad mood too. If negativity was wiped away, everything would be great. The Flower Mound High School band got the amazing opportunity to go to Grand Nats in Indianapolis, Indiana. It was very exciting and not many bands in the nation get to go because it is very expensive. Our band did very well considering the fact that that was our second time going. Our band placed fifth there and the last time we went, we got sixth. We've only gotten better! It was very rewarding hearing our placement and to acknowledge the fact that all of our hard work that we put in paid off.
I'm very happy with the success of this marching season and I am very proud of all of my band mates/ color guard. I am a part of the color guard and it is a lot of hard work, ut it was all worth it in the end. I am very grateful for the fact that we got to go to Indy for Grand Nats. Just knowing that we placed fifth in the whole country is amazing! It was an amazing event and I fell very blessed to have gotten to do it! I like to think of myself as a wolf, mainly because I took a test about the type of animal that describes you.
I am in the colorguard at the Flower Mound High School, and I broke my nose during a half time show at the L.D. Bell vs. Flo Mo football game. It was towards the end of the show and we had about one minute left. I was facing the back at the time it happened. Everyone had to throw a silk toss (double), but I didn’t catch it the correct way. I caught it with my face, and by face, I mean my nose. It was really noticeable, but I felt back in pretty fast.
Next thing I know, I feel something trickle down my face. I realize that it’s blood. I had to keep going though because you can’t just stop in the middle of a performance. Blood got all over my uniform, gloves, and face. After it was all over and done, I figured out it was worth it. I ended up getting a compliment from my coach Mr. Martin which is a really big deal. He never gives out compliments. I am thankful for my family, my dog, my friends, my house, and so much more! My family contains the people that I care most about. They are very important to me and I don't know what I'd do without them. My friends are the people I go to for my problems and they are always there for me. My dog is my best friend and I love him to bits and pieces. I am thankful for many things in mu life and I don't know what I'd do without them.
